——Chairman of CHINT Group Co., Ltd., Nan Cunhui

Mr. Nan Cunhui, born in July 1963, from Yueqing, Zhejiang, is the Chairman of CHINT Group Co., Ltd. He is an outstanding representative of Zhejiang merchants and a representative of Chinese private entrepreneurs who adhere to industries and continuous innovation. Under his leadership, CHINT Group has focused on industrial development and brand building, evolving from a small family workshop founded in 1984 to an international corporate group that operates in over 140 countries and regions, employs over 50,000 people worldwide, and has been listed among China's Top 500 Enterprises for more than twenty consecutive years. CHINT is continuously deepening its engagement in Green Energy, Intelligent Electric, and Smart Low-carbon industries, committed to "Making Electric Energy Safer, Greener, More convenient, and Efficient."

 

For decades, Mr. Nan Cunhui has upheld the business philosophy of "creating value for customers, seeking development for employees, and taking responsibility for society," emphasizing long-term, professional, co-creative, and shared approaches. Under his leadership, CHINT Group consistently integrates its development with the broader economic and social context, exploring innovative photovoltaic wealth-sharing models, creating a value-sharing culture, building a community of shared destiny within the industry chain, and establishing industry incubation platforms to create an innovative ecosystem that shares value and outcomes, thereby aligning economic, social, and environmental responsibilities.

 

Through his advocacy, CHINT funded and established the Commonweal Foundation, which to date has contributed more than USD 62.36 million in donations and reliefs to various social public welfare undertakings such as poverty alleviation, education, earthquake relief, public entrepreneurship, ecological environmental protection, epidemic prevention and control, and more. In 2021, CHINT won the first place in China's Top 100 Private Enterprises Social Responsibility Model Award.
